We can make all kinds of edges: standard edge, rope edge, cross-cut edge, spur edge, oblique line edge, bezel edge, and many more.
The weight of your challenge coin will depend on the size and design of the coin. Roughly speaking, 1.5” coins are about 1-1.1oz, 1.75” are about 1.5-1.65oz, and 2.0” are about 1.95-2.15oz.
It depends on your needs. The shape is round, the thickness is 3mm, and the size is 2". But if you have specific needs/requirements, we can make it happen for you!
At EverLighten, there is no limit on the colors. But of course, the more color, the more expensive the price is.
Die-struck coins have the designs transferred to a front & back mold, the raw brass by each mold with enough force to both the raised & recessed areas of the design into the brass. Die Cast molds are fitted together, and molten zinc metal is injected into the die to create the coin blank.
Challenge coins have various processes and types to achieve different design styles. Simply put, Soft Enamel is textured, with the enamel filled below the metal ridges, while Hard Enamel is smooth, with the overfilled enamel polished against the metal. You can have soft on one side and the other hard.
